Iowa Gov. Terry E. Branstad and First Lady Chris Branstad today announced that they will hold a media preview event at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, at Terrace Hill located at 2300 Grand Avenue in Des Moines. The purpose of the event will be to highlight upcoming October events at Terrace Hill that will celebrate the arrival of fall and the holiday season.
Additionally, there will be an official flag raising ceremony to celebrate the completion of the new plaza on the Terrace Hill grounds that will feature America’s flag, Iowa’s flag, and the POW/MIA flag.
