Clovis: Perry is coming to town

Former U.S. Senate and Treasurer of Iowa candidate Dr. Sam Clovis announced this afternoon that former Texas Gov. Rick Perry is coming to Morningside College next week for the first of what may become a series of “town hall” meetings with probable 2016 presidential candidates.

“Just wanted to let everyone know that former Texas Governor Rick Perry will be on the Morningside College campus on February 16, 2015, at 5 pm in the UPS Auditorium. The auditorium is in the Lincoln Center and is located right behind the Dairy Queen on Morningside Avenue. This is the auditorium where the original Serious Civics lecture series was staged. The event will be a town hall event and is free and open to the public.”
