President Obama’s nominee to replace Attorney General Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, certainly gave Republicans plenty to object to during a Senate confirmation hearing. But one answer in particular could easily be a disqualifying remark for most Americans.
U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee, asked Lynch how President Obama’s executive amnesty plan — suspending enforcement for nearly 12 million illegal entrants and an executive order extending work permits, Social Security, Medicare, tax credits, and government identification to 5 million illegal entrants and visa violators — undermined the rights of disadvantaged American workers.
