With today marking forty-two years of legalized abortion in the United States due to the Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade the organizers of this weekend’s Siouxland Rally for Life have released a statement.
“Forty-two years is far too long to permit this holocaust in our nation,” said event coordinator Jake Dagel. “While those who support abortion have demanded it is a woman’s choice, over 62-million lives have been slaughtered and women exploited. It is time us as citizens care for the most vulnerable in society and demand an end to this barbaric practice. Women deserve better than abortion.”
The fourth annual “Siouxland Rally for Life” is scheduled for Sunday, January 25th at Cornerstone World Outreach (1625 Glen Ellen Rd.) in Sioux City, Iowa. The rally begins at 3:00 p.m.
Speakers for the event include Hannah Stouffer, Sam Clovis, Carl Christiansen, Sue Thayer, and Honorary Guest, Senator Rick Santorum.
The event is open to the public and everyone in the Siouxland community is encouraged to attend.
