Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced he will be taking part in the GOP tailgating event at the Iowa-Iowa State football game this Saturday.
His weekly itinerary released Tuesday states he will be at the event, planned for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lot S-7 east of Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, at approximately noon. Several other candidates have indicated they will attend, as well. The tailgate is being hosted by the Republican Party of Iowa, the Boone and Story County Republicans, and the Iowa State and University of Iowa College Republicans.
The following Tuesday, Trump is expected to hold a rally with military veterans at the U.S.S. Iowa battleship museum in Los Angeles.
