Republican presidential candidate Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will return to Iowa with his “Walker Winnebago” on Monday for a stop at the Iowa State Fair and The Des Moines Register’s soapbox, followed by campaign stops throughout central Iowa.
As has been the case in the past, the Walker campaign only announces the events at which media are invited. Here is a summary of those events:
Monday, Aug. 17
10 a.m. — Iowa State Fair speech and walkaround, Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines
5 p.m. — Maid-Rite, 409 Closz Drive, Webster City
6:45 p.m. — Pizza Ranch, 102 S Main Street, Clarion
