U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has released his weekly video address. In it, he discusses the dozen fake Healthcare.gov enrollees placed by the Government Accountability Office to test the government-run website, which he says presents evidence of systemic failures in the key piece of Obamacare.
“The law requires verification, but that didn’t happen in the undercover operation,” he said. “Instead, the federal government allowed promises to take the place of verification. That has terrible implications for the taxpayers. This approach leaves the taxpayers on the hook for an even bigger bill than expected for the President’s health care program. That’s unacceptable.”
