Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has frequently said he is “personally pro-life,” and he has a voting record that mostly supports that position. However, an ad that aired during his most recent re-election campaign last fall has some scratching their heads, trying to figure out where he really stands.
Scroll down to see the video. In it, he reaffirms his pro-life views, but then argues on behalf of a pro-choice piece of legislation. “The bill leaves the final decision to a woman and her doctor,” he said. “Now, reasonable people can disagree on this issue. Our priority is to protect the health and safety of all Wisconsin citizens.”
For many pro-life voters, it begs the question: At one point does the health and safety of the unborn become a priority to be protected?
