Santorum coming to Iowa

Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), is returning to Iowa for a two-day swing this week. The 2012 winner of the Iowa Caucus will visit the Des Moines area, as well as Mount Pleasant. During his stops, he will be holding private meetings with concerned Iowa leaders.

Santorum’s first stop will be at noon Wednesday at the Bull Moose Republican Club in Des Moines, which meets at the Embassy Club at The Ruan Center downtown. At 5 p.m., he will be the latest speaker for the Dallas County Republican Party’s spring speaker series at the West Des Moines Marriott at 1250 Jordan Creek Parkway. He will then hold a book signing for “Bella’s Gift” at Divine Treasurers at 5701 Hickman Road. in Des Moines.

Thursday, Santorum will address the Road to 2016 Informing the Energy Debate at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates in Des Moines. The speech will begin at 12:30 p.m. An hour later, at 1:30 p.m., he will participate in the Network of Iowa Christian Homeschool Educators town hall event hosted by nationally syndicated radio host Steve Deace to be held at the Des Moines Airport Holiday Inn.

In the evening, he will address The Family Leader’s Southeast Iowa Presidential Lecture Series in Mount Pleasant. The speech will begin at 6 p.m. at Iowa Wesleyan College, located at 601 N. Main St.
