In the world of political ambition, the desire to appear “tolerant” oftentimes overrides common sense and has people talking on topics that they have insufficient knowledge or understanding of.
Case in point, Ben Carson just gave us his Easter thought, reminding us that Jews, Christians and Muslims all believe in God. But not the same God, Dr. Carson. The God of the Bible is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus.
It’s important to note, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19)
The god of the Quran is mentioned many times throughout the Bible, amongst his descriptions the prince and power of the air and the god of this world; the Devil. Dr. Carson also stated, “and while there are ideological differences in who Jesus was, we should find peace in the fact that we are all God’s children.”
