Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad has announced he will sign the “sledding bill” into law during a special bill signing ceremony at 2 p.m. tomorrow in his office.
House File 570 is an Act providing for an exemption from municipal tort liability for claims arising from recreational activities on municipality-controlled property. The bill passed the Iowa House 96-0 on March 17, 2015. It passed the Iowa Senate 48-0 on March 23, 2015.
