Iowa House Republicans did not help their own re-election efforts today when Speaker Kraig Paulsen removed two members of his own caucus from the Ways and Means Committee to advance the proposed 10-cent gas tax increase bill. Voters across the state, outraged by the move, have been scrambling to get their voices heard.
Timing may have been on their side.
